Carrianne Selene Dillon,  graduating senior and resident harpist from Old Greenwich, got to experience the life of a top model-for-a-day in a NYC studio with a fashion photographer, professional hair and make-up artist, the works.

 

It helped to have a Grandmother, Liz Dillon, who had contacts from her career as a fashion editor and came up with the idea!  It would be Carrianne’s  day to feel beautiful and style the photographs to her own liking.  She asked just one favor –could she have a photograph taken with her harp?

 

Dillon made the arrangements with New York City photographer Michael Keel (www.keelphoto.com), whom she knew from their years of working together creating beautiful magazine fashion spreads and brochures for business clients in locations from Ellis Island to Tod’s Point.  His studio is in the Penthouse on Seventh Avenue and 28^th Street.  Liz, Carrianne, her good friend, Jackii Siguenza,  and the wardrobe and accessories were in one car.  Carrianne’s Mother, Cathy Dillon, who teaches music in her studio in Old  Greenwich,  volunteered to drive the harp into the city.  Cathy made a stop at Poricelli’s Food Market  in Old Greenwich to pick up lunch for the crew – and the caravan was on its way.
